It’s exactly 300 miles from our rv park just west of Butte, MT, to the KOA park in Spokane Valley, Washington. It was a smooth ride, for the most part, on Interstate 90, through a variety of mountain scenery.
I 90 follows the Clark Fork river for miles, and we crossed and recrossed it a dozen times.
I tried to get a pic of Missoula, Montana, as we passed through. What I got was a photo with a pole in the center…
Near Alberton, MT, the terrain changed dramatically from farmland to mountains.
Lookout Pass on the Idaho-Montana border at 4,710 feet is also the Pacific Time Zone eastern border.
Just west of Couer d’Alene, ID, we slide into our third state of the day, Washington, and the KOA.
The temp was a toasty 95, with a light breeze. It’s going to get into record setting heat temperatures over the few days. Wonderful!
