Thanks, Newmar!

Last January, we noticed a misalignment in one of Nessie's slide outs that was beyond our power to correct. Since we were going to be in the Indiana area, we decided to have the people who "delivered" her make the correction, and today was the day. Arriving at 6 am EDT this morning (exactly 3 hours earlier than what we are accustomed to on the West Coast!), Daryl took Nessie and disappeared into the vast complex that makes up this area, and we were left with a sleepy dog and a need for strong coffee.

Breakfast at the Dutch Kitchen just a few blocks down the road solved one problem, with Ham 'n Eggs 'n Toast along with Biscuits 'n Gravy high on the list. And coffee. Now, we're ready for the day!

Seeking to gain some information about the operation of the motorhome, we petitioned Daryl for a chance to watch a bit of his adjustment procedure, which he was gracious enough to provide, then D and I set out to go to Shipshewana for some smoked pork chops from Yoder's Meat and Cheese, and then stopped off at Das Eisenhaus for a couple of loaves of Cinnamon Breakfast Bread. Arriving back in Nappanee just in time for the End of Job review for the coach, we found that after spending most of the day working on the slide, Daryl and his supervisor had made arrangements for the entire repair to be covered under Newmar's Good Will policy!

While no person or business is perfect, Newmar continues to stand tall among its competitors with consistent after-the-sale service, and we were very pleasantly surprised!

For the next few days our plans are a work in progress. Originally fairly well defined, we have been forced to change them, and so: fair warning, the blog may be delayed a bit, but we'll catch up in a few days.

Oh, the weather, you ask?

Rain. Predicted another inch tonight, and rain for the next 10 days straight…..Wish I could send a couple of buckets to California!
