Having had just about enough Lobster and seafood to last awhile, we left the Maine coast and started west toward Vermont. Crossing the Piscataqua River in Portsmouth got us into New Hampshire, where we stayed for most of our days trip.
Twenty-odd dollars in tolls for different sections of I 95 finally got us off the Interstate In North Hampton, NH, on NH 101, which goes west past the New England Dragway before turning north on I 93 near Manchester, NH. A hundred miles or so north sent us across the Connecticut River into Vermont near the town of Lebanon, NH.
A turn onto I 89, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway directed us north to the villages of Randolph and Randolph Center, VT. The rv park we've elected to stay at for a few days is called Lake Champagne RV Park, and is situated on over a hundred acres of farmland. Most of the cleared property is devoted to hay, and is cut and baled several times a year. Site A, where we were directed to park is significantly out of level, front to back, but has a great view out of the front window! The wifi is phenomenal, I've never seen any faster, and the sites, while grassy/muddy are nice and wide. The price is very reasonable, and I should say that if we're ever in this area again, we will return.
In the photo below, the dog park is the grass area beyond the trees on the far hill! It's a bit of a trek to access, but wonderful when you do!
