It's a scenic little fishing village, and the day was warm and comfortable with temps in the low 70's, so it was a good place for a walk. Many vendors, crafters, and food stands were scattered about the town, so we indulged in a couple of trinkets and had a glass of freshly made lemonade with our Lobster roll!

Sorry to leave Timberland Acres RV Park. Site 240 was great, very long and with a lot of space between sites. Downeast Maine is just a spectacular place to visit. We've remarked all week that the scenery can't be beat, the weather has been perfect, and the campground friendly and comfortable.

A bit hard to navigate to, but very nice, Red Apple tries really hard to be a "resort". The sites are paved, the grass and landscaping are nicely maintained, but the $65 a night fee isn't justified. The seasonal sites comprise most of the campground, leaving only about a dozen for short-timers. The wifi is marginal even though we have an antenna 20 feet from the rv, and the rules here are very restrictive, but the paved sites and cleanliness make up for most of that. Site B42 is satellite friendly, which is good, since cable doesn't seem to be available, and we have a separate paved parking place for Gus.
We took a quick trip to the beach just to see where it is, and found this:
