After buying some awesome heiahloom tomatoes, chahd, and cucumbahs, we stopped in downtown for a cup of coffeh at Perfectos. The weatheah was wahm and muggy, so we sat outside and cooled down while we watched the walhd go by.
Downtown Kennebunk is typical for a New England village, having been established in the 1600's.
We knew that we wah going to leave Sunday morninah, so we packed up some things as best as we could in preparation of departure. About 5:00 pm the skies opened up and a thundah stoahm rolled in.
Within an hour and a half, about an inch of rain came down.
We had made arrangements to have fresh Lobstah delivered for Saturday supper, and we wanted to eat outside, but the rain made that impossible, so we had to "make do" with two Lobstahs with drawn buttah, coahn on the cob, and cucumbah salad on the dahning room table.
By the time dinnah was oveah, the stahm had quit, so we lit up the site with a good fiah.
What a day!
