Harrisonville, MO, to Glenpool, OK.

Left one of our favorite Walmarts this morning, heading south on I49. Just east of Joplin, MO, we turned onto I44 and drove southwest toward Tulsa, OK. Just a few miles west, we crossed into Oklahoma near Loma Linda, and just east of the town of Baxter Springs, Kansas, where D's Dad was born. Hi, Dad! Thinking about you.

The state of Oklahoma has chosen to name I44 between the Missouri line and Tulsa the Will Rogers Turnpike. Wonderful….another toll. Eventually (245 miles give or take) we got to the town of Glenpool, about 30 miles south of Tulsa, and pulled into a Super Wally that my records indicate is "overnight friendly". When we got here, we noticed signs indicating "no truck parking" on the west side of the parking lot, but not on the east side. So there we are.

Our "site" is perfectly positioned for satellite reception….

Sasha and I went for a walk just about dusk and saw a beautiful Oklahoma sunset.

Off into Texas tomorrow!
